Sold in packs of 25 of the same title. After working in a wide range of mental health settings with various types of clients, it became apparent that many clients exhibited a lack of social skills. That lack of such skills directly impacts the mental health functioning as it prevents them from developing and maintaining effective relationships with other people. Without social skills, they are unable to: • Send, receive, and interpret messages in personal communication with others • Use nonverbal communication appropriately • Take appropriate social risks • Share personal information about themselves with others • Listen actively to other people • Build trust so that others were willing to disclose personal information • Develop a network of people who could help them achieve their goals
