SFYS Coordinator - Zak DavidsonG’day, I am Zak and my role with BATForce is Coordinator of the School Focused Youth Service. I work in the Colac and South Geelong regions. I work with Schools and Community Services agencies to create and improve opportunities for young people at risk. I have worked in local government and the not for profit sectors, my passion is working with young people and their families to create opportunities they can thrive in. My previous roles have seen me operate within; community development, youth justice, education and recreation.
I have seen young people benefit from a whole of community approach to service delivery, with school engagement at the core. I have worked in both service delivery, development and in capacity building roles so I understand the challenges services and schools have; where pooling limited resources and having supports like BATForce are integral.
